EDWARDS — Archie Lee Wilson of Edwards died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, in Utica. He was 63.

Mr. Wilson was born Sept. 2, 1952, to Victoria Wilson-Bush and the late Percy Strong.

He was a member of the St. Paul MB Church in Edwards, where he served under numerous titles and served as a Deacon. He attended high school at Hinds Agricultural High School and continued his education at Utica Junior College. He retired from Hinds County Public Works after 28 years and Retired.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death a brother.

Survivors include his mother, Victoria Wilson-Bush of Edwards; son, Chicobea Wilson Sr. of Vicksburg; six sisters, Willie C. Wilson and Frankie Wilson, both of Cincinnati, Dora Brow and Carolyn Wilson, both of Edwards, and Maxine Jackson of Vicksburg and Gertha M. Ponce of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Ronell Cook and Elmore Wells of Vicksburg, and Charlie Wells of Atmore, Ill; and four grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be noon Saturday, May 14, 2016, at St. Paul MB Church, in Edwards. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Willis and Sons Funeral Home.
