Suspect sought in U.S. 61 North Sonic robbery

Published 10:23 pm Saturday, June 4, 2016

Police are looking for a man who robbed the Sonic Drive-In on U.S. 61 North Friday night and left with an undetermined amount of cash, Vicksburg police Lt. Troy Kimble said.

He said the man walked into the building at the drive-in, produced a gun and demanded money, then left on foot with the cash.

During the robbery, an employee managed to slip away and run to the nearby Kangaroo convenience store and called police. An immediate search of the area failed to find the man.
