Aaron Harris, 82, of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of Vicksburg, died Thursday, June 9, 2016.

He was born June 4, 1934, to the late Willie Harris Sr. and Lubertha Parson Harris.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur James Harris and Roosevelt Harris; two sisters, Geneva Harris Perkins and Bobbie Jean Harris; a niece, Delores Perkins King; a sister-in-law, Pauline Brown Harris; two brothers in law, Benjamin Perkins Sr. and Homer Hanna; three nephews, David Glen Williams, Frederick Harris and Austin George Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Debra Harris of Los Angeles; four sons, Michael Harris, Aaron Harris Jr., Rudy Harris and Aaron Michael Harris, all of Los Angeles; three sisters, Flora Harris of Vicksburg, Bertha Mae (Joe) Moore of Gardenia, Calif., and Willie Mae Hanna of Euclid, Ohio; one brother, Willie (Rosie) Harris Jr. of Vicksburg; a sister-in-law, Shirley Coleman Harris of Vicksburg; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including Harris, Burns, Parson, Smith, Toliver, Miller, Meeks and Thomas families.

Services will be Friday, June 24, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Mary Magdalene M.B. Church, 5102 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles, Calif., 90062, (323) 295-1232.

Services have been entrusted to Inglewood Mortuary, 3801 W. Manchester Blvd., Inglewood, Calif., 90305, (310) 412-6811.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
