Freddie Lee Beacham died Sunday, June 26, 2016, at The Bluffs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was 97.

Mrs. Beacham is preceded in death by her husband, Norval Beacham Sr. and a son, Norval “Scoo” Virgil Beacham.

Survivors include her two daughters, Joyce Beacham of Vicksburg and Norma Lee Beacham Brown of Portland, Ore.; son, Jesse Lee Beacham of Columbia, S.C.; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Moseley officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, with family present from 6 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the March of Dimes, Paralyzed Veterans or Mississippi Track Club.
