Lois Marie Young Anderson

Funeral services for Lois Marie Young Anderson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at The House Of Peace Worship Church International, 1301 Holly St., with the Rev. Dr. L.A. Hall, senior pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Robbins Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home chapel from noon until 8 p.m., and again on Saturday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Family will be present on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Anderson died Wednesday, June 22, 2016. She was 76.

A native of Vicksburg, she was a member of Mount Heroden Baptist Church and a practicing LPN for many years. Mrs. Anderson was also immediate past president of The Auxiliary, Tyner-Ford Post 213, and member of the Vicksburg Homecoming Benevolent Club and the Elite Civic Club of Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Reedy, her parents, three sisters and a brother.

She is survived by three sons, Terry Bell and Lee Anthony Bell, both of Vicksburg and Herbert Bell of Montgomery, Ala.; a daughter, Shelia Anderson Noble of Wylie, Texas; two sisters, Hilda White of Vicksburg and Katherine “Baby Kat” McReynolds of Pensacola, Fla.; four brothers, Albert “Sonny Boy” Young, Ernest Paul Young, Harvey Young, and Halven Young, all of Vicksburg; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
