A Brandon man wanted on a warrant out of Texas was held without bail Saturday.

Anil Kumar Fethi, 55, 205 Asbury Lane, Brandon, was arrested at 4:17 a.m. Saturday and held on a felony theft warrant out of Dallas County, Texas, according to Warren County jail records.

Fethi was travelling west on Interstate 20 and was pulled over by Sgt. Ray Thompson near the U.S. 61 North exit on a traffic violation, Sheriff Martin Pace said. During a routine license check the warrant was found in the National Crime Information Center database, he said.

Fethi will appear in Justice Court for his extradition hearing Tuesday, Pace said.
