Willie “Po Monkey” Seaberry of Marigold entered into eternal rest July 12, 2016, at his home in Marigold on Po Monkey Road.

He was 77 years old at the time of his passing.

He was well-known for the juke joint he owned called “Po Monkey’s Lounge.”

Mr. Seaberry leaves behind to cherish him his wife, Ula Mae (Drake) Seaberry, whom he wed on Jan. 16, 1960. Through this marriage they had four children, Willie Seaberry Jr. of Baffalo, N.Y., Martha Seaberry and Rachel Seaberry (Donovan) Hutchinson, both of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Margie Seaberry of Vicksburg.

He also leaves behind to cherish his memories grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
