Police provide drug suspect’s name in error

The name of a person arrested during the Vicksburg Police Department’s Operation Clean Sweep drug roundup Sept. 22 was given in error, according to information from the police department.

According to a press release issued by the police department, information on the roundup listed a Roderick Brown, 32 as one of the people arrested by officers Sept. 22. The person’s correct name was Rogerick Brown, 38. Rogerick Brown, according to the release, was listed in the police department database as Roderick Brown, 38.
