Kiara Lockhart had 14 points and five steals, T.T. Sims added eight points and six steals, and Warren Central beat Callaway 51-38 Saturday in the season-opening Mo Williams Classic at Murrah High School.

Aniya Sanders added nine points and 16 rebounds for the Lady Vikes, who led by double digits for most of the game.

“We, like everyone else, are trying to work out kinks and get chemistry,” Warren Central coach Jackie Glass said. “We had too many missed opportunities, missed free throws and errors. We played hard and I feel like we’ve got a lot of upside.”
