Judy Fitzpatrick of the Eagle Lake community passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016, at her home. She was 68.

She was the daughter of Frank and Lucille Mayr of Wisconsin.

Judy earned her associate degree in nursing from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Milwaukee. She received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and earned her Ph.D. in educational psychology from Mississippi State University.

Judy had retired as a marriage and family counselor. Judy was a communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Mayr.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Jim Fitzpatrick of Eagle Lake; two daughters, Kerry Reed and Kelly Dunn, both of Baton Rouge, La.; her mother, Lucille Mayr of Milwaukee; three grandchildren, Anna Reed, Katie Dunn and Alex Dunn; one brother Dr. Jim Mayr of Pensacola, Fla.; and one sister, Patty Faulhaber of Milwaukee.

A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Lalor officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
