Funeral services for Willie Currie Sr. are Friday, Dec. 9, in the New Mount Zion M.B. Church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert L. Miller Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge. There will be a visitation hour Thursday, Dec. 8, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the funeral home.

Willie Currie Sr. died Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Heritage House Retirement Center following a brief illness. He was 90.
