Anna Marie Reynolds Weaver

Anna Marie Reynolds Weaver died peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017. She was 84.

Mrs. Weaver was born Oct. 7, 1932 in New Orleans to the late Eugene Scheile and Irma Ferrand Reynolds. She was a 1952 graduate of Holy Angels High School in New Orleans. She has been a resident of Vicksburg since 1960.  She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as “Nanny.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Frank Jerome Weaver.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Weaver Deyoe (R. Scott) of Vero Beach, Fla.; two sons, Michael J. Weaver (Evelyn) and Frank J. Weaver II (Marcia), both of Vicksburg; six grandchildren:  Whitney A. Deyoe, Marianna L. Deyoe, Julia S. Deyoe, John D. Weaver, Courtney W. Warnock, and Sean M. Weaver; five great-grandchildren, Daniel Deyoe Thompson, Katie Warnock, Karley Warnock, Emory Weaver and Luke Weaver; and two sisters, Violet Ruth Reynolds Sumrall of Mandeville, La., and Barbara Jean Reynolds Sensebe of New Orleans.

A funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Lalor officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service at the church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Deyoe, Drew Warnock, Sean Weaver, John Weaver, Curtis Buford and Marion Love.

The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses of the fourth floor and CVR/ICU unit at Merit Health River Region, Dr. Lee Giffin, and the staff of Gentiva Home Health.
