BATON ROUGE, La. — Charles Donelson Guion Jr., age 76, a resident of Baton Rouge, La., passed away Jan. 24, 2017.

Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years and best friend of 69 years, Carol Lagg Guion; his daughter, Wendy Carol Guion; and his sister, Nancy Guion Hammersla and husband, Harold.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Judith Dianne Guion and Lisa Brooks Guion; his mother, Roberta Davidson Guion; and his father, Charles Donelson Guion Sr.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, from 6 to 8 p.m., and resume Friday from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
