Robert “Bob” Arnot Geary III of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, at Central Mississippi Medical Center. He was 77.
In the hopes that others may be helped, Bob donated his body to University of Mississippi Medical Center.
He was born in Vicksburg Oct. 17, 1939, the son of Robert Arnot Geary Jr. and Eleanor Wade Geary.
Mr. Geary was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and a member of Crawford Street United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Geary of Vicksburg.
Mr. Geary is survived by his wife, Marilyn Randall Geary of Vicksburg; two daughters, Karen D. Rials and Amy D. Mooney, both of Vicksburg; two sons, Arnot Geary of Virginia and Quin Geary of Jackson; six grandchildren, Jesse Moore of Hattiesburg, Randall Allen of Vicksburg, Angela H. Lick of Vicksburg, Olivia H. Ismail of Hattiesburg, Laura G. Steward of Maryland, and Grant Quin Geary of Virginia; two brothers, John “Jack” Geary of Jackson and William “Wade” Geary of Atlanta; and one sister, Ann Geary Laird of Mound La.
A brief memorial service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at Crawford Street United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at 4 p.m., followed by visitation among family and friends.
