Flashes run away from Rosa Fort

St. Aloysius scored all of its runs in the bottom of the first inning and earned an easy 14-0 victory over Rosa Fort in the Vicksburg Spring Break Tournament Tuesday.
Josh Collins went 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Landon Middleton, Jake Pierce, Kieran Theriot, and Garrett and Tyler Breithaupt all had two hits.
Middleton and the Breithaupts also drove in two runs apiece. St. Al finished with 16 hits.
Lane Hubbard pitched four shutout innings for the Flashes and had five strikeouts.
St. Al improved its record to 8-0 with the victory, and will play one more game in the spring break tournament — Wednesday at 3 p.m. against Vicksburg — before heading into its district schedule next week. St. Al hosts Riverfield next Tuesday.
