Louis Darnell Wright died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in Ridgeland. He was 58.

Louis was a 1977 graduate of Warren Central High School.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Columbus Royster; and brother, Edward “Pee Wee” Wright.

Survivors include his sons, Shandell Lockridge of Vicksburg and Artavis Wright of Milwaukee; one daughter, Stephanie (LaDarrion) Holloway of Great Falls, Mont.; mother, Henrietta Royster of Vicksburg; three sisters, Marion Wright of Milwaukee, Earlina Wright and Anita (Terry) Bell, both of Vicksburg; four brothers, Larry (Rose Mary) Wright and Anthony Wright, both of Vicksburg, Kenneth (LaWanda) Wright of Baton Rouge, La. and Trevis Royster of Memphis, Tenn.; a special friend, Mary Lindsey; 12 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Greater Grove Street Missionary Church with the Rev. Johnny Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 1 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m.
