Jack Blackstock passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at his home. He was 70.

He was born in Durant.

He served in the U.S. Army, having retired with 22 years of service.

He was preceded in death by a son, William Chad Blackstock; four brothers; and a sister. He was loved by all.

Survivors are his wife, Faye Blackstock of Vicksburg; four sons, Kevin James Blackstock of Brandon, John Preston Knight of Mendenhall, Milton Lee Weeks III of Vicksburg and Chadwick Earl Hudson of Vicksburg; a daughter, Chastity Dawn Blackstock of Cary; a brother, Phillip Blackstock of Killeen, Texas; and a sister, Elaine Johnson of Lexington; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, March 23, in Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Blackstock, Timothy Blackstock, Shane Eldridge, Gary Johnson and Trent Johnson.
