Funeral services for Ora Lee Anderson will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at the Vicksburg Auditorium with the Rev. Johnnie Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., with the family present at 6 p.m.

Ora Lee Anderson passed away Saturday, March 18, at Merit Health River Region following a lengthy illness. She was 69. 

She was a homemaker and member of the King David No. 2 M. B. Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, George David and Martha Givens Beamon Sr.; her husband, Albert Harris; four brothers, James Beamon, George Beamon, Willie Charles Beamon and William Beamon; two sisters, Hall Beamon and Georgia Beamon; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by her sons, James Anderson Jr. and Larry Anderson, both of Vicksburg; her daughters, Brenda Garrett, Rosetta Reed and Emily Lee, all of Vicksburg; her brother, Walter Beamon; her sisters, Josephine Foster of Vicksburg, Mary Merola and Martha Murphy, both of Kansas City, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
