Funeral services for Janice Marie Woodson are to be held on Tuesday April 4 at Zion Traveler M. B. Church at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Douglas Harris officiating. Interment shall follow under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

There will be a visitation hour held on Monday, April 3, in the Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m.

Janice Marie Woodson passed away on Thursday, April 30  at the University Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  She was 58. She had worked as a private duty nurse and beautician/hairdresser.   She was a member of the Mt Olive .B. Church #2.

She was preceded in death by her father James McNair and sister Irma Woodson.

She is survived by her mother Zelma Woodson of Vicksburg, her three sons, Adrian Woodson and Orlando Woodson both of Vicksburg, and Andrew Woodson of Dallas, Texas, her two brothers Melvin Woodson of Cleveland, OH and Kevin James Woodson Sr. of Slidell, La., six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
