Mavis Adele Miller Skipper, 92, passed away March 31, 2017, at Promise Hospital in Vicksburg.

She was born and raised in Walton County, Fla., and she was a housewife and a mother and a member of Linden Church of God in Webster, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie C. Miller and Charlie A. Miller; her husband, Vester Skipper; two daughters, Eloise Stouy and Judy Miller; five sisters, Lois Colvin, Doris Miller, Jackie Diaz, Sallie Ducharme and Edith Miller; and three brothers, James Miller, Junior Miller and G.W. Miller.

She is survived by one daughter, Gladys (Hal) Johnson; three sons, Dannie (Renae) Skipper, Jeff (Babbett) Skipper and Mike Skipper; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Alice Terry of Visalia, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Linden Church of God in Webster, Fla.. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service begins at the church.

Graveside service and burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Webster, Fla.
