Warren Central second at division track meet

Warren Central’s boys track team got first-place finishes from Raylon Sayles in the 110-meter hurdles and Mason Quimby in the high jump and finished second in the team standings at the Division 4-6A meet Thursday at Clinton High School.

The Vikings sent 15 athletes on to next week’s regional meet at Northwest Rankin. The top four finishers in each event advanced.

Sayles and Quimby also qualified with Devin Montgomery, Detric Johnson and Tybias Williams in the 4×100 and 4×200 meter relays.

Henry Banks placed second in the high jump and third in the 110 and 300-meter hurdles. Brandon Fischer placed second in the pole vault.
