Augusta W. “Gussie” McNamara died Saturday, April 15, 2017.  She was 90.

Born in Charleston, MS, she was the daughter of Roy L. Wilson and Mary Hemingway Wilson. She was a communicant of St. Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Leray McNamara (Cindy) of Jackson; a daughter, Betty McMullen (Marshall) of Charleston, W.Va.; and a sister-in-law, Martha “Lady” McNamara.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Joseph Pearse McNamara; two sisters; and one brother. 

A Memorial Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, at St. Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Lalor officiating. 

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
