Kaylnn Renae “Kay” Knight passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017, in the St. Jude Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., following a lengthy illness. She was 18 months. 

She is survived by her father, Larry C Knight Jr. of Vicksburg; mother, Taylor B. Hayes of Vicksburg; her brothers, Lamar Knight and Braylen Knight, both of Vicksburg; her sister, Alycia Knight of Clarksdale; her maternal grandparents, Brenda Hayes and Earl Taylor of Vicksburg; her paternal grandparents, Angela D. Brown and Quinless Brown, both of Vicksburg; and a host of others including the Britton, Jones, Hayes, Hayden, and Taylor families.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 5, at the New Mount Elem M. B. Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Leonard Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.
