Barbara Ann “BJ” Judge

Barbara Ann “BJ” Judge passed away Sunday, April 30, in the University Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  She was 61. 

She had worked as a sales manager in the hotel industry.  She was of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Lee and Abbie Davis Dent.

She is survived by her husband, James “Tyson” Judge of Vicksburg; her three sons, Curtis (Kimberly) Judge, of Vicksburg, James (Bridgett) Judge Jr. of Bradenton, Fla. and Christian A. (Sara) Judge of Conroe, Texas; her two daughters, Kimberly Dent and Michelle Judge Collins, both of Vicksburg; her three brothers, Glen Dent, Larry Dent and Stanley Dent, all of Vicksburg; her four sisters, Carolyn Dent of Vicksburg, Beverly Dent Scott of Columbus, S.C., Audrey Dent Smith of Conroe, and Joyce Dent McNair of Cape Coral, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 6, in the Traveler’s Rest M. B. Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Lockridge officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home. 

Visitation will be Friday in the Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m.
