Stella Harris Fuller

Stella Harris Fuller went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Promise Hospital of Vicksburg.  Born Sept. 16, 1938, in Bude, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Verna Harris.

She was a longtime resident of Vicksburg and a graduate of Carr Central High School, class of 1956.  She was a member of Hawkins United Methodist Church.

Stella is survived by her husband of 60 years, William “Red” Fuller; two daughters, Denise Dingler (Ray) and Nancy Jones (Glen); her son, Rusty Fuller; two grandchildren, Christy Jones Pigg (Brad) and Glen Jones Jr. (Nicole).

She has six great-grandchildren, Austin and Ricky Jones, Brittany, Rebecca, Kyla and Ainsley Pigg, all of Vicksburg.

She is also survived by two brothers, Morell Smith of Monroe, N.C. and Prentiss Mitchell of Cairo, Ga.; two sisters, Louise Bethey of Camden, S.C. and Dot Foster of Natchez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be Monday, May 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Riles Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to favorite charities in Stella’s name.
