Traffic on Halls Ferry Road from its intersection with North Frontage Road north to Bowmar Avenue is expected to be one-way for about two days for roadwork.

South Ward Alderman Willis Thompson said construction workers are removing and replacing concrete panels in the street as part of the South Ward paving program to improve Halls Ferry and several other streets in the South Ward.

He said workers are pulling the old panels and pouring new ones to improve the road surface. The work began this morning.
