Vicksburg police are looking for a man accused of shooting a 19-year-old while he was in his backyard.

Darrius Britton told police he was standing in the backyard of his home in the 300 block of Bayou Boulevard when the unidentified man walked into the yard and shot him in the lower right leg and left.

Britton was taken to Merit Health River Region for treatment, and his condition was unavailable. The shooting remains under investigation.
