Culkin was generous, except to its own water customers

To the editor:

I am so proud the City of Vicksburg received their water supply back, but now Warren County should be a little more concerned; mainly Culkin Water District!

I live in the Culkin Water District and it is now Sunday, May 21, at 1:50 p.m. with no water since Thursday. I do have some but not enough pressure to wash dishes, clothes, or even take baths. Some in the area cannot even flush toilets.

Calls made constantly through yesterday were told it would be back going strong by 5 p.m. Friday, then Saturday. Now, we know nothing because the office is closed.

Culkin Water pitched in and assisted the city with their water issues, which in one way or another ended up shorting all the people in this water district.

We do all half understand the situation, but what we do not understand is no one giving us all an update when we are having to go through everything the city just went through for this many days.

I don’t think it is too much to ask for a daily update on this situation!
