WC soccer camp

The Warren Central Lady Vikes Soccer Camp will be held June 26-29, at the front practice field at Warren Central High School.

The camp is for boys and girls in grades 1-6, and will run from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each day. The cost is $75 per player before June 17, or $80 on the day of the camp. All campers must bring shin guards, cleats, tennis shoes and sunscreen.

Registration is available at Hobie’s Sports and Outdoors on Pemberton Blvd.

Gator Golf Classic

The Second Annual Gator Golf Classic is scheduled for June 14 at Clear Creek Golf Course. The tournament is a benefit for the Vicksburg High School baseball and golf programs.

The two-man scramble will begin at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $150 per team, or $75 for an individual. Hole sponsorships are available as well, for $100, $225 and $500. The winning team will receive 2 YETI coolers. There are also prizes for the top three finishers in each flight, for the longest drive and closest to the pin.

Alcorn basketball camp

The Vicksburg YMCA will host the Montez Robinson Basketball Fundamental Skills Clinic on June 3, from 8 a.m. to noon. The clinic will be led by Alcorn State men’s basketball coach Montez Robinson.

The camp costs $35 per person, and will feature developmental drills and one-on-one instruction. Campers must have proper athletic attire and basketball shoes.

Kings Center basketball

The Kings Empowerment Center will host a basketball jamboree on June 3, beginning at 10 a.m. The two-game jamboree is for boys and girls teams in grades 6 through high school. The registration fee is $60 per team.

Jackson Street Camp

Registration for the Jackson Street Summer Camp is now open and will continue until June 3. The camp is for children ages 6-10, and is free. Registration forms are available at the Jackson Street gym and the Parks and Recreation Department offices at 100 Army Navy Drive, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Play 2 Wynn camp

The 15th annual Play 2 Wynn Basketball Camp will be held June 19-23 at Vicksburg Junior High School, from 9 a.m. to noon each day.
