HOUSTON, TEXAS—Marshall Hattix, formerly of Vicksburg, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Houston, Texas. He was 72.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 27, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Houston with Troy B. Smith Professional Services in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local humane society.
