JACKSON—Carrie Camphor Ellis passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 92.

Visitation will be Friday, May 26, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Funeral Service in Jackson and Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at Mount Burner Baptist Church in Pattison.

A celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Mount Burner Baptist Church with burial to follow at Sarepta Cemetery in Pattison.

She is survived by her three daughters, Jessie Lewis of Jackson, Mary Shingles of Florence, Ala. and Diane Ellis of Jackson; four sons, Sammie Ellis of Birmingham, Ala., Ronnie Phillips of Vallejo, Calif., Larry (Cynthia) Ellis of Flowood and Luther (Felicia) Ellis of Jackson; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
