Funeral services for Shirley Mae Lee Credit will be Saturday, June 3, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m.

Mrs. Credit passed away Friday, May 26, at Merit Health River Region following a lengthy illness. She was 62.

She was had been the owner operator of the Turf Cafe and Hotel. She was a member of the Wayside Pentecostal Church of Utica, and had attended Alcorn State University.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Danny and Dorothy Foote Lee; her husband ,Morris Credit; her daughter, Dominique Madeline Lee; and her brother, Bobbie Lee.

She is survived by her son, Danny Marino (Kimberly) Turner of Vicksburg; her brothers, Jon Paige of Port Gibson and Michael Netter; her cousin, Josephine and Curely Parker of Clinton; and her fiance, Leon Williams of Vicksburg; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
