David Glen “Whimp” Harrell died Saturday, June 3, 2017, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 69. Mr. Harrell was born in Greenville, MS to the late Oneal and Louise Edwards Harrell.  He was a graduate of H. V. Cooper High School and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. 

Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife, Judy Harrell; a son, Chad Harrell (Ginger); six grandchildren:  Tyler Harrell, Michael Harrell, Cassidy Gramatzki, Britney Blevins, Destiny Ward, and Megan Ward; a sister, Kathy  Riles Caylor; and two brothers, Steve Riles and Charles Riles.

Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Riles Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Hollowell officiating.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service.  Pallbearers will be Tyler Harrell, John Paul Evans, Brandon Wigley, Jimmy Renfro, Rebert Massey, Jimmy Tuggle, and Jonathan McMillian.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Warner, Gary Pettway, Patsy Burgett, and Dr. Jennifer Frost.
