HOME DESTROYED IN MORNING FIRE

A Wednesday morning fire destroyed a home at 4804 Halls Ferry Road, Warren County coordinator Jerry Briggs said.

He said Culkin and Fisher Ferry volunteer firefighters responded to the fire, which was called in by a Warren County sheriff’s deputy about 3:51 a.m. Wednesday, “and by the time he called it in, it was fully involved.” He said the home’s owner was out of town, and no one was injured.

Briggs said firefighters were called back to the house about 10 a.m. when the blaze rekindled.
