William Joseph Resseguet was born Jan. 4, 1970, and lost his courageous battle at his home on Monday, June 12, 2017.

William “Billy” was born and reared in New Orleans, but had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1995.

For the past 10 years, he had been employed with Ricky’s Welding and Machine Shop. He was known by everyone as the most kind hearted and giving person anyone would want to know.

William was preceded in death by his father, Milton Resseguet Sr.

He is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Elizabeth “Baby Girl;” his mother, Dolores Murtagh; sisters, Karen Childs (Robert), Patricia Hord (Joey), Pam Noey (Henry); brothers, Milton Resseguet, Louie Resseguet (Danielle), Rusty Resseguet, Patrick Murtagh; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jonathan, Nicole, Joey, Laura, John, David, and Ryan and many friends.

Memorial services will be Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service.
