Dorothy Ann Kerr

VALLEY PARK — Dorothy Ann Kerr died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital. She was 66.

Born in Leflore County, she lived most of her life in Tallula, MS, where she retired as a secretary for the Mississippi State Extension Service in Issaquena Co.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her parents, John Sr. and Mary Gardner Kerr of Rolling Fork; her two sisters, Margie Bryant of Lafayette, La. and Theresa Kerr of Ft. Worth, Texas; her two brothers, John T. (Kay) Kerr Jr. and Ronnie (Jackie) Kerr, both of Rolling Fork; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, at the Valley Park Baptist Church with the Rev. James Gray and the Rev. Daryl Cook officiating.

Interment will follow in the Valley Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be John Paul Kerr, Charles Kerr, Ryan Kerr, Jason Kerr, Bill Gardner and Michael Gardner.

Glenwood Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
