Douglas Lee Rowe died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at his residence. He was 62.

A native of Tulsa, Okla., he had made his home in Vicksburg for the past 17 years.

Doug loved his children, grandchildren and his church and they all gave him a reason for living. He was a wonderful husband of 21 years. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Cydnie Ramsey Rowe of Vicksburg; his daughter, Charlie Knighton Greer of Vicksburg; his son, Matt “SJ” Ramsey and his wife Amanda of Vicksburg; his step-mother, JoAnn Buckley Rowe of Bixby, Okla.; his sisters-in-law, Dee Dee (Ken) Brinkley, Kathy (Joe) Ballard and Shana (Donnie) Lee, all of Vicksburg; his brother-in-law, Cliff (Diane) Ferrell of Vicksburg; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth (LeLe) Ramsey, Madison Ramsey, Blake Knighton and Kaitlyn Knighton.

Funeral services will be noon Friday, July 7, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. E.L. Sharp and George Ameen officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cliff Ferrell, Donnie Lee, Doug Huskey, Richard Brumfield, Charles Stamey, Joe Ballard, Devin Bryant and Matt Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matt “SJ” Ramsey, Ken Brinkley, Dr. Thomas Sligh, Jeanine Hearn and the Men of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
