Two people face charges of attempted burglary after their arrest Friday, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Tiffany Cherie Smith, 39, and Peter Cardell Haggard, 47, were being held in the Warren County Jail without bail pending an initial appearance Monday in Justice Court. They are accused of attempting to break into an out building behind a house in the 1400 block of Sherman Ave.

They also face a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after crack pipes were found during a search after their arrest at a traffic stop. Smith also faces a charge of having swapped car tag, when a check on the tag on vehicle she was driving indicated it belonged to another vehicle.
