Janice C. Crawley passed away on July 7, 2017, at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 55.

She was employed at Walmart Super Center in Vicksburg for 30 years.

Mrs. Crawley was preceded in death by her father, Abie Lee Carson; mother, Savannah Braxton Carson; her maternal grandparents, James and Annie Mae Braxton; paternal grandparents, Georgia and Henry Carson Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Crawley; her son, Michael Crawley; daughter, Michelle Crawley, all of Vicksburg; five sisters, Deborah Carson, Kathryn Carson, Annie Carson, Myra Thomas (John), Sharon Sanders all of Vicksburg all of Vicksburg; one brother, Thomas E. Carson Sr. of San Francisco; one great aunt, Lorena King; one granddaughter, Miricael Crawley; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the Vicksburg Auditorium with the Rev. Rhagi White officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home from 1 to 7 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
