Richard Eugene Love

Richard Eugene Love died Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at his home in Greenville. He was 47.

A native of Vicksburg, he had lived most of his life in the Warner Robbins, Ga., area and had been making his home in Greenville for the past five years.

He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Lutheran Church.

He was loved and cherished by his family and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelious Richard and Melinda Cook Love; one brother; and one sister.

Survivors include his fiancée, Alicia Parker of Greenville; his daughter, Hailee Johnson; his two stepdaughters, Dillon Kelley and Kierston Kelley; his three sisters, Mary Brasel of Fairfield, Calif., Amanda Jerden of Vacaville, Calif. and Johanna Love-Masterson of San Antonio, Texas; his five brothers, Jimmy Love of West Point, Larry Love of San Antonio, Alan Wayne Love of Texas, Johnny Wayne Brister of Antalope, Calif., and Allen Cook of Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren, Wyatt Love Johnson and Xander Johnson; and numerous other family members.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, in the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Glenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
