“About 6 a.m. this morning (Wednesday), two teams of officers began serving arrest warrants that stemmed from new drug charges developed by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, we had probation and parole warrants from the Department of Corrections, and we had grand jury capiases (warrants) for those who failed to appear on their arraignment day,” Pace said.

“Some of the addresses were in the city and some were outside the city, but all were in Warren County.”

Those arrested were:

4Destiny Brand, 23, of Vicksburg, sale of a controlled substance.

4Madison Klent Stevenson, 34, of Vicksburg, grand larceny.

4Summer Jeandron, 33, of Vicksburg, sale of a controlled substance.

4Gregory Mason, 25, of Vicksburg, probation violation.

4Bobby Blackmore, 59, of Vicksburg, possession of a controlled substance.

4Scotty Weeks, 44, of Vicksburg, possession of a controlled substancre.

4Robert Williams, 44, Vicksburg, probation violation.

While serving the felony warrants, Pace said, officers also arrested four people wanted on misdemeanor warrants from Vicksburg Municipal Court for failure to pay outstanding fines.

Pace said the roundup will continue, but would not disclose how many more warrants are outstanding.

“This has been a partnership effort between the U.S. Marshal’s, the DEA, the Department of Corrections and the sheriff office and the police department.”
