Jessie Jones died Aug. 15, 2017, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center.  He was 94.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Flora Jones; his sister, Mary Louise Sykes; and his brothers, Charles R. Jones and Felix Leroy Jones.
He is survived by his son, Robert B. Jones; daughters, Jessie Louise “Dutch” Hanks, Eunice Faye Nielsen and Patricia Ann Ables; his brother, W. C. Jones; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. on Friday until the hour of the service. 

Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brett Jones, Jamie Little, Talan Little, Christopher Ables, Jason Ables and Michael Nielsen.  Honorary pallbearers are Ahstin Greer, Braylen Greer, Trey Smith and Mac Branning.
