Maxim Kette Dornbusch

Maxim Kette Dornbusch died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at Merit Health River Region. He was 77.

Maxim was born Aug. 3, 1940, in Vicksburg to the late William and Netty Whittle Dornbusch.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Maxim was employed with International Paper from it’s opening in 1967 until his death.  Golfing was his great love.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Sirianos Dornbusch. 

Maxim is survived by his wife, Carol Webster Dornbusch; a daughter, Kristin Cade (Jeb) of Starkville; a son, Kette Dornbusch (Amy) of Oxford; two sisters, Jane Dornbusch of Vicksburg and Patricia Sistrunk of Okalona; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at Riles Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Godfrey officiating.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Roberts, David Brewer, Brent Biedenharn, Glen Ward, Jim Warren, Bob Anderton, Hugh Hasty, and Oliver Bradway.
