Vicksburg police are looking for two men who attempted to steal an ATM from the Port Mart Texaco on North Washington Street Sept. 3, Vicksburg police Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said.

According to police reports, the men backed a Ford F-150 pickup into the store about 2:29 a.m. and attempted to take the ATM but failed. During the attempt, Edwards said, one of the men stole several cartons of cigarettes from the store.

The truck, which had been reported stolen from a home on Cedar School Circle last week, was later found behind Locust Grove M.B. Church on Stenson Road.
