Mary Barbara “Bobbie” Dunn

Mary Barbara “Bobbie” Dunn, of Vicksburg died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at the age of 90.

She was the wife of Alonzo E. “Tubby” Dunn for 58 years.

She was employed for the Bell South Telephone Co. for many years. She also worked as the switchboard operator for Mercy Hospital and Street Clinic.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and working in her flower garden.

Surviving are son, Michael Dunn (Tommie) of Vicksburg; brother, Lonnie Ray Dixon (Beverly); sister, Martha Boone (David); grandchildren, Michael Dunn Jr., Daniel Dunn, Kayle Tilden and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers, James Dixon and Albert Lee Hackler; sisters, Vera Snow and Doris Williams.

A Graveside Service will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Bradley’s Chapel Cemetery located on Oak Ridge Road, Vicksburg.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home.
