Tabitha Shane Mallory

Tabitha Shane Mallory, a former Vicksburg resident, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15, in Dallas, Texas following a sudden illness.  She was 36.

She had worked in the Amazon Warehouse and was of the Baptist faith. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Wayne Gross Sr.

She is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Butts of Dallas, Texas; her daughters, Damiah DeShawn Heard and Alaiyah Ayanno Smith, both of Vicksburg; her mother, Barbara Gross Dix of Memphis, Tenn.; her brothers, Michael Wayne Gross and Cary Gross both of Memphis, Tenn., and Schcoby Mallory of Dallas, Texas; and a sister, April Gross Green of Vicksburg.

A memorial service will be at the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with words of encouragement given by Mr. J. B. Edwards.

There will be a visitation from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
