A 14-year-old who ran away from home Jan. 4 has been found safe.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace confirmed that Kaitlyn Hedrick was found safe Wednesday after missing for nearly a week.

Hedrick reportedly walked away from home on the evening of Jan. 4 and had not been seen since.

Following the report of a missing person, Pace said all indications were that Hedrick had left home on her own accord.
