Jerry Lynn Hill Jr., 45, passed away Monday, Feb. 12, 2018 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

A visitation is Saturday, Feb. 17, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence.

He was afforded full military honors at the committal service at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave., Biloxi, MS 39531.

Jerry was born on March 14, 1972 in Leland to Jerry and Addilean Hill. He loved his country and served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.

An outdoorsman, he enjoyed sports and being with his friends. He was always laughing. He loved life and his family, especially his sons.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Lynn Hill Sr. and his son, Preston Zachary Hill.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Lynn Hill, III “Trace” of Ackerman; mother, Addilean (Lloyd) Brown of Florence; sisters, Shirl (Hank) Perot of Pearl, Kelly Ewing Rose of Ohio, and Amanda Faye Presgraves of Florence; stepmother, Belinda Hill; niece, Emily Ewing; and nephews, Ian and Alec Ewing and Derek Perot.
