SLIDELL, La. — A Slidell man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he allegedly pulled out a gun to threaten another parent at a local elementary school pickup line.

NOLA.com reports Tyronne Causey, 32, was arrested by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office after the incident Thursday.

In a press release, the sheriff’s office reported Causey became upset with another motorist while waiting in the school pickup line shortly before 4 p.m. He allegedly withdrew his weapon and threatened the other parent, the release said. The dispute was allegedly triggered by one motorist being cut off by another in the car line.
