Green is accused of shooting Campbell Saturday night at her home at 160 Elizabeth Circle. Her death was the third homicide in the city this year. Green was arrested about 1:52 a.m. Sunday at the home of a relative on West Magnolia Street.

According to police reports, Green and Campbell had been dating and recently ended the relationship. When Campbell returned home from work Saturday night, she found Green at her home and an argument began that resulted in Green shooting her.

Officers responding about 10:05 p.m. Saturday to a call that someone had been shot in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle arrived to find Campbell lying in the front yard of 158 Elizabeth Circle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey, and an autopsy was ordered.
